The French newspaper has praised the quality of reusable face masks that had the tag of ‘Made in Pakistan’. This was revealed via a tweet by the Federal Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry.
In his tweet, Chaudhry said that Pakistan has already got orders of PPEs exports which amount upto $100mn. This, in future, is expected to reach $500mn.
Fawad Chaudhry tweeted, “French Newspaper is all praise for made in Pakistan masks, Pak has already received 100 M USD export orders of PPEs and we expect this figure to cross 500 M USD in cmng months… Inshallah.”
Pakistan catered to the rising demands of the French residents for face masks. Health authorities and local media were highly obliged for it.
Earlier on Fawad Chaudhry also said that the first-ever locally developed testing kits for coronavirus detection has been approved in Pakistan by the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP). He announced this via a tweet. National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), one of the top universities of Pakistan developed the kits.
Announcing this Chaudhry tweeted, “Another landmark achieved…. DRAP has approved Pakistan first COVID testing kit, Congratulations to @Official_NUST and our brilliant scientists …you people have made us proud … this ll bring significant cost reduction of COVID tests also ll save huge import bill.”
