Foxconn’s First Electric Car Making Has Surfaced

One can discuss the exact when, but it is also clear that the days of the burner are numbered. This means that the entire automotive industry is in a state of upheaval and companies are entering the market that can be described as lateral entrants. Like Foxconn.

Foxconn is likely to be known to most technology-interested users in this country as a contract manufacturer for Apple and other brands. But the Taiwanese company, which is actually called Hon Hai Precision Industry, has other plans and wants to celebrate success as an independent manufacturer soon. And that applies not only to consumer technology and electronics but also to cars.

It has long been no secret that Foxconn has ambitions as a car manufacturer and is absolutely serious about it. It was only announced at the beginning of October that the company had bought an electric car plant in the USA. Now photos have also appeared of what they may or will probably build there.

3 Foxtron Cars Expected

The Foxtron brand will soon offer several cars, and Foxconn will present three new cars at an event on October 18. The first recordings of one have now appeared in more or less the wild Electrek reported. The Foxtron sedan can be seen packing or unpacking; it is likely to be a pre-production vehicle intended for a presentation.

The images of the vehicle are partially poorly resolved, but you can at least see on one of them that there should be a large, maybe even huge, display directly behind the steering wheel. Details will probably be given at the Hon Hai Tech Day, which is the aforementioned event next week, which will be dedicated to electric cars but possibly also to other technology products from Foxconn.
