Dr Zafar Mirza—a Special Assistant to PM on Health said on Thursday that at least four Pakistani students that had been diagnosed with coronavirus disease in China were fully recovered now.
Through his tweet, Dr Zafar confirmed that all the four students from Pakistan recovered from the coronavirus disease and had been discharged from the hospital in China after the medical treatment.
“I am pleased to confirm that Alhamdolilah our four students that had developed coronavirus disease in China are now fully recovered and today they have been discharged from the hospital,” he wrote on Twitter.
He further said that the teams of the medical experts are deployed at the several airports of the country to observe the passengers coming from China and not a single suspected case has been reported yet.
On the other hand, the Chinese province Wuhan—the epicentre of the deadly virus outbreak reported a record rise in the number of deaths on Thursday, as the global health experts warned the epidemic could get far worse before it is brought under control.
It is worth mentioning here that according to a leading public health epidemiologist of Hong Kong if Coronavirus is not controlled, it will spread to about two-thirds or 60% of the world population.
His warning has come up following the World Health Organization’s (WHO) head’s statement about the recent cases of coronavirus patients who had never visited China.
