Those of you who were a little disappointed that Eid ul Azha will be on Saturday, 2nd September, thus no holidays from schools or offices should cheer up.
The government of Pakistan has announced that the Eid ul Azha Holidays would be 4 days and not the usual three days. So from September 1st to September 4th, all Pakistanis can celebrate Eid.
The notification has been issued by Ministry of Interior, announcing Eid ul Azha from Friday, September 1st to Monday, September 4th.
It was announced by the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee on Tuesday that Zil Hajj moon was not seen anywhere in the country thus confirming that Eid ul Azha will be on September 2nd all across Pakistan.
In Saudi Arab, Eid Ul Azha has been announced on September 1st which makes August 31st the Day of Arafah.
