The former Minister for Information and Broadcast and the spokesperson of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Aurangzeb and her mother Tahira Aurangzeb have tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
According to the details, both lawmakers of the former ruling political party have gone into self-isolation after having tested positive for the deadly virus.
Both leaders of the PML-N were not showing any symptoms of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), but they have quarantined themselves for 14 days over the advice of the doctors.
A day earlier, the Federal Minister for Pakistan Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad had tested positive for the novel coronavirus that took lives of the thousands of the lives across the country. According to the statement issued by the Railways ministry, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad had gone into the self-isolation at his residence after testing positive for the deadly virus.
On the other hand, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, who is the former Prime Minister (PM) of Pakistan and leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has also been tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
It is pertinent to mention here that the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country had passed 100,000 mark and stood at 103,671 after the detection of 4,728 new infections in the last 24 hours.
