Foreign Office has replaced its spokesperson.
Muhammad Faisal has been replaced now and has been appointed as Pakistan’s ambassador to Germany. And here Aisha Farooqi has taken his charge from today.
The newly appointed spokesperson is a by career a diplomat who joined the foreign service of Pakistan in 1994. Before being appointed as a spokesperson in the foreign service, Aisha was serving as a consulate general of Pakistan in Houston, USA.
So far she has served at many well-known and important capitals including; Cairo, Ankara and London in her career. The bio which has been shared by the foreign office says that Aisha Farooqi has also made her contribution in the policy-making at the Ministry of Foreign affair at important political desks.
On the other hand, the standing committee on Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony was briefed that there are high chances that the Hajj 2020 package under the government scheme would be increased by Rs.63,000.
The committee members strive to keep the package minimum and also to offer maximum facilities to the Hajj pilgrims. The committee also urged the government of Saudi Arabia to lower the taxes.
