The flight schedule at the Karachi airport has been disrupted owing to the bad weather conditions. On Wednesday gusty winds with downpour has taken on the city of lights.
As per sources, the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has diverted many flights to other cities due to heavy rainfall in Karachi.
The Islamabad to Karachi bound flight PK-309 was diverted to Lahore, as per sources and further added that another flight PK-311, en-route to Karachi was diverted to go back to Quetta.

A Dubai bound flight PK-213 could not leave for its destined location on time due to the bad weather conditions in the city.
Heavy rainfall was experienced in the different parts of the city which includes I.I. Chundrigar Road, North Karachi, Clifton, M.A. Jinnah Road, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, North Karachi, Saddi Town, F.B. Area, Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Nazimabad, Liaquatabad and Water pump Chowrangi.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has said that 32mm rain was recorded in North Karachi, 28mm in Saddar and 20mm at the University Road.
The Met Office has further said that the fresh spell of rains was anticipated to persist at regular breaks for the span of the next 2 days, with the possibility of a thunderstorm on Thursday.
