Five more health workers lost their lives due to Coronavirus

In the last twenty-four hours, five more health workers have lost their lives in Pakistan due to coronavirus.

Around fifty-three health professionals have died of coronavirus in the country, according to a report arranged by NIH (National Institute of Health).

Within the last twenty-four hours, 104 health workers along with five doctors have been tested positive for COVID-19 which takes the total tally of infections to 4,959.

So far, 602 nurses, 1,335 paramedical staffers, and 3,001 doctors have been infected with the coronavirus pandemic in Pakistan. On the other hand, 2,139 health care workers have recovered.

Previously on 21st June, sixty-eight more health professionals contracted coronavirus within twenty-four hours.

National Institute of Health submitted a report which showed that in a single day twenty-two paramedics, 6 nurses and forty doctors contracted COVID-19.

As per the report, the total number of workers affected with COVID-19 has risen up to 4,855 out of which 583 nurses, 1322 health workers, and 2950 doctors have been infected with the coronavirus.

On the other hand, the Additional Inspector General Ghulam Nabi Memon says that the residents of Karachi will be strictly punished if they will leave their homes after 7 pm.
