It has been announced by Fawad Chaudhry the Minister for Science and Technology that the first ever Pakistan science fair will be held in August.
The Minister for Science and Technology in a tweet disclosed that the ‘First Pakistan Science Fair’ will take place in Islamabad in the month of August.
The tweet states, “First Pakistan Science Fair to be held in August 2019 In ISLAMABAD. If you want to showcase any of your innovations, get set for this great Science Fare. Entries will be open from 1st July.”
Just recently Fawad Chaudhry was given the charge of the Science and Technology Ministry. He formed a committee to finalize the Islamic calendar.
He will ensure that important Islamic events in the next five years are set so that there is no duplicity in Ramadan and Eid observance.
Relevant scientific experts comprised of the committee for moon sighting. It consisted of three meteorology department officials and one Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) official. Muhammad Tariq Masood, the scientific advisor of the Minister will lead the five-member committee.
