On Monday, Fawad Chaudhry Federal Minister for Science and Technology said that he is excited that the first-ever electric vehicle (EV) charging station is launching in Islamabad.
He shared this news through twitter where he wrote, that he is very excited for the launch of the first Electric car charging station in Islamabad.
According to him, the first electric vehicle charging station will be established at Jinnah Avenue in Islamabad very soon. Fawad Chaudhry further wrote that launching electric vehicle charging stations is another initiative of the minister of science and Technology to encourage electric vehicles as future transportation.
It is important to mention here that last month, Pakistan approved the policy of its first-ever electric vehicle. The country is going to be shifted on electric vehicles in the future for transportation.
All vehicles including; motorcycles will shift on electric power and the manufacturing units of the electric vehicles are going to be established in the country.
As per the federal minister of science and technology Fawad Chaudhry, only one percent duty will be required in the establishment of the Electric Vehicle’s (EV) Manufacturing Units in our country. He further added that the ministry of science and technology are working hard on the policy of shifting vehicles on batteries for future transportation in Pakistan.
