Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is establishing the first ever digital city of Pakistan near Islamabad. The announcement was made by the Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kamran Khan Bangash. He announced that the provincial government aims to establish the first Digital City Haripur of Pakistan. It will be located behind the Margalla Hills in Islamabad.

Kamran Khan Bangash tweeted, “Industrial revitalization in IT Sector is the cry of the day. We’re soliciting preliminary survey from National & International investors/industries for “Pakistan Digital City Haripur”, only 30 minutes’ drive from Islamabad.”
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Information Technology Board disclosed that the city will be used for different businesses and technology corporations according to the industry requirements.
