First batch of dual-seat JF-17 Aircraft Rolled Out

The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has rolled out the first batch of “08 dual seat JF-17” aircraft from Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC) in Kamra. This is quite a remarkable achievement.

The official statement said,  “To mark this momentous occasion, a grand ceremony was held at Aircraft Manufacturing Factory, Kamra where Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan was the chief guest at the occasion.”

The Chinese ambassador highlighted the time tested friendship that exists between China and Pakistan. As per the Chinese ambassador, the JF-17 is a testament to Sino-Pak friendship and mutual cooperation.

The Chairman PAC Air Marshal Ahmer Shehzad highlighted the important features of the project during the ceremony.

The ceremony was also attended by the Chinese envoy Yao Jing and Aviation Industries of China (AVIC) Executive Vice President Hao Zhaoping as a guest of honor.

The PAC and China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation (CATIC) also signed an agreement to co-produce the commercial aircraft of China, as per the communique.

PAC and CATIC were congratulated by PAC for successfully accomplishing the 2019 production target and finishing the 08 dual-seat JF-17 aircraft in just 5 months.

The air chief marshal said, “JF-17 Thunder is the backbone of PAF which has been battle-proven during operation Swift Retort.”

Then later in the day the JF-17 Dual-Seat Integration facility at Avionics Production Factory, Kamra was also inaugurated by the air chief.

The statement concluded, “The facility will enable PAF to integrate avionics and weapon systems of choice with JF-17 aircraft, ultimately providing the much-needed self-reliance and operational flexibility.”
