FIA detains an alleged front man of Sharif family from Lahore airport

According to the media reports, an alleged front man of Sharif family, Muhammad Mushtaq has been detained by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore.

As per the details, Muhammad Mushtaq is a manager of Ramzan Sugar Mills and he was trying to flee Dubai when the federal agency took him into custody from the airport.

According to the information, the name of Muhammad Mushtaq was placed on the Exit Control List (ECL).

Earlier, the court had postponed indictment of President PML-N Shehbaz Sharif and his son Hamza Shehbaz Sharif in Ramzan Sugar Mills case to the next hearing of the case following plea of Sharif’s defense council to the court.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Lahore High Court (LHC) on February 14 granted bail to the top leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the Ashiana Iqbal Housing and Ramzan Sugar Mills cases.
