Barrister Farogh Naseem, the newly appointed Federal Minister for Law and Justice has barred the ministry’s officials from all visits to foreign countries.
He said in a statement that no official of the ministry would be allowed to visit the foreign countries on the official tour.

The ministry officials have warmly welcomed the recently elected federal minister. After taking over the charge of the ministry, he said that the slow pace of the work in the department wouldn’t be tolerated.
Justice (retd) Abdul Shakoor Paracha, the Law Secretary briefed the federal minister on the current affairs of the ministry as well as the challenges the ministry is facing on the national and international legal grounds.
Mr Naseem said that the Law and Justice Ministry would observe the austerity in line with the instructions by the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, and ultimately barred the officers from foreign visits.
The Federal Minister also reviewed the appointment of the law officers at various courts in the country and ordered to fill all the vacant posts.
He further said that the elimination of the corruption is the first priority of our government and will not tolerate any interruption or work’s slow pace within the ministry.
