Federal Govt. to Operate Green Line Bus Service for 3 years

The green line bus service would be operated by the federal government in the first three years of its operations in Sindh as informed by the governor of Sindh Imran Ismail.

This announcement was made when the governor was talking to the media at the 10th vintage car rally of Pakistan’s vintage and Classic Car Club of Pakistan held at the Governor House. When he was asked about the green line bus service, Imran Ismail responded that the project was facing some issues technically that has now been resolved and is now ready for collaborating with the Federal Government.

So the federal government is going to handle this project for the next 3 years and later on it will be handed over to the provincial government for the period of 7 years.

The Kartarpur Corridor was also a part of the discussion. According to him, the opening of the corridor is going to boost religious tourism in our country.

 Apart from all this, there is going to be an installation of a plant to overcome the problem of water shortage in Karachi to some extent.
