Federal Government Released Rs. 299.70 Billion for Different Projects

The federal government for the year 2020-21 released Rs. 299.70 billion. Out of the total, Rs. 198.34 billion was released to federal ministries.

For several projects, the federal government under the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) 2020-21 release Rs. 299.70 billion.

The breakdown of the funds is like this; Rs. 198.34 billion was released to federal ministries, Rs. 76.46 billion to corporations, Rs. 24.14 billion for special areas including Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan, and Rs. 750 million to the Earthquake Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA).

Information was also received that the government has allocated Rs. 1.5 billion for ERRA for the year 2020-21. Rs. 53.43 billion out of PSDP allocation of Rs. 118.67 billion has been released to the National Highway Authority (NHA) while Rs. 23 billion out of Rs. 158.3 billion allocations have been disbursed to the National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC).

Going further, Rs. 43.2 billion was released to the Water Resources Division, Rs. 38.22 billion to the Cabinet Division, Rs. 32.34 billion to the Finance Division, Rs. 14.4 billion to the Higher Education Commission, and Rs. 11.7 billion to the Railways Division.

The National Health Services, Regulations, and Coordination Division have received funds of Rs. 6.88 billion. While the National Food Security received funds of Rs. 6 billion funds and the Poverty Alleviation Division received Rs. 6.75 billion.
