Faysal Bank & LABARD Collaborate To Serve Disable Individuals

Faysal Bank and Lahore Businessmen Association for Rehabilitation of Disabled collaborates to help serve disable individuals in a better way.

A modern innovative vehicle is donated by Faysal Bank to LABARD for easy mobility of disabled children. It would aid special children to acquire education and training easily.  The gesture by Faysal bank was appreciated by Federal Commerce Minister and LABARD President Pervez Malik, President Faysal Bank Yousaf Hussain, LABARD Secretary General Muhammad Saeed Khan and Bushra Aitzaz Ahsan.

Faysal Bank Chairman spoke on the occasion, he said, “We recognize that we cannot have a healthy and growing business unless the communities we serve are healthy and sustainable. We are committed to improving the quality of life in the communities where we do business and have realigned our community investment priorities to be reflective of and responsive to the global and local nature of our business. We are committed towards LABARD’s initiative and will work hands-on with the management to complete this project.”

LABARD president said that the organization is further enhancing its services by putting camps in various cities so that disabled individuals can register and also boosting the confidence of special children by telling them how special and unique they are in their own way.

Muhammad Saeed Khan, LABARD Secretary General also spoke by telling that government should support LABARD and similar institutions so that people take disability as an advantage and not as a weakness. They should be given jobs and provided with equal status in the society.
