Families of Police Officials to get Health Cards: Announces PM Khan

On Wednesday, PM Khan said that the police forces have played a significant role in the uplifting of the country.

As per the shared details, PM Khan was addressing the 33rd passing out parade of recruits at Police Lines Headquarters in Islamabad.

The Premier said that a nation could not achieve its development goals in an insecure environment. The Police forces assure the protection of citizens when the defense forces were busy securing the borders of the country.

PM Khan said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) raised the morale of the police forces when it became the victim of terrorism in 2013 and 500 policemen were martyred.

Imran Khan added that the KP police department had bravely fought the jeopardy of terrorism and won the confidence of the citizens.

In addition to this, PM Khan said that he will discuss the matter related to salaries of the Islamabad police with the Finance Minister Abdul Hafeez Shaikh.

He also announced the provision of health cards to the families of police officials for giving them medical insurance facility up to Rs 1 million.

Moreover, the installments of loans of the government employees will be paid from the rent allowance in Naya Pakistan Housing Program.
