On Wednesday, PM Khan posted on Twitter that the Textile Industry of Faisalabad has witnessed a massive surge in demand and export orders.
As per the shared details, for enabling the industry to meet the growing demand, PM Khan has directed the industries and commerce ministries to make sure that all the needed support is provided to the textile sector.
He also said that the textile sector is one sector that has shown positive developments on the economic front of the nation despite the current pandemic.
On the 19th of November, PM Khan asked the related authorities to resolve the issues being faced by the textile industry in Faisalabad at the earliest.
While talking to a business delegation of the business representatives and exports linked with the textile industry in the city, he asked Hammad Azhar-the Minister for Industries and Production to consult with all the stakeholders regarding the establishment of the Expo Center in Faisalabad.
He also asked the Communications ministry to take measures for establishing a motorway interchange at the Chak Jhumra.
PM Khan said despite the issues being experienced because of the coronavirus epidemic, the nation’s economic situation is stable.
The business community on the occasion promised to surge the textile exports to $21 billion by 2021.
