At just a single tap, the residents of Faisalabad can get vegetables and fruits at their doorsteps also and that too at cheap prices.
An application has been launched by the district government for the people to place the order and get the fruits and vegetables delivered to their homes without any charges.
Muhammad Ali Deputy commissioner Faisalabad said that the home delivery will be provided on orders costing above Rs.500 and for the other cities the condition is Rs.1000 as the app is being operated on a no-profit no-loss basis.
Different points have been set up in the city from where the orders will be delivered. Another point has been inaugurated today at the D-type Bridge.
As per Muhammad Ali, the residents can buy fruits and vegetables from these points, apart from having them delivered to their homes.
The commissioner also told the residents that the prices will be cheaper than the market as these points have been set up by the government. The government aims to sell at least 50,000 worth of produce each month.
