After the chairperson of the Edhi Foundation Faisal Edhi was tested positive for the novel coronavirus earlier, his son and other members of his family were also tested for the disease.
According to the details, his son Saad Edhi was tested negative for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) but is currently under precautionary self-isolation.
While talking to the media in Karachi, Saad Edhi told that his father Faisal Edhi would be tested again for the coronavirus after the five days of his diagnose to assess the progress of his disease. Saad further told the media that his entire household was tested for the coronavirus after his father tested positive, although all the members of the Edhi family were tested negative for the deadly disease.
It is pertinent to mention here that on April 21, the chairperson of Edhi Foundation and the son of philanthropist late Abdul Sattar Edhi was tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Last week, the chairperson of the Edhi Foundation met the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan in the capital city of Islamabad and presented him a cheque of 10 million rupees for the Corona Relief Fund established by the Prime Minister for help the poor and needy people during the lockdowns due to the coronavirus.
