According to reports Facebook is testing dark mode for its messenger app in a few regions. Facebook has acknowledged that it is testing the dark mode but it has not given any details.

Facebook Messenger spokesperson in an emailed statement said, “We’re conducting a small test of dark mode in a handful of markets. We don’t have anything further to share at this time.”

Few users have reported on Twitter that they can see an option to test dark mode in their Facebook messenger.

A Twitter user Jane Manchun Wong tweeted, “Facebook Messenger, seemingly due to prolonged external nagging, has started public testing Dark Mode in certain countries. They have put up a fair warning that Dark Mode isn’t everywhere yet so don’t complain when some UI burns your eyes off.”

Back in October 2018, Facebook did test the dark mode feature but then nothing notable surfaced regarding this. Now Facebook has admitted and users have reported that the social media giant is testing the dark mode feature.
