Ex-Sindh Law Minister Files a Petition Asking for Medical Facilities at Pakistani Airports

A petition has been filed at the Sindh High Court. The petition has been filed asking for the provision of medical facilities at the airports across Pakistan.

The petition has been filed by SM Zafar—ex-law minister and his son—Ali Zafar, against the Civil Aviation Authority.

SM Zafar’s other son—Tariq Zafar lost his life at the Karachi airport after he got a heart attack. The petitioners say that they were unable to provide any immediate medical help to their patient as there were no doctors or medical treatment facility or any ambulances at the airport.

The petition asks for launching an investigation against the Civil Aviation Authority for their negligence. They have also inquired for the details of medical facilities present at the airport.

The court has asked regarding the medical facilities present at the airport and it even asked that are there any doctors available at the airport or not.

The federal government and the Civil Aviation Authority have been asked to submit their responses in the case.
