After rainy spells overnight in London, the conditions were overcast today at the Lord’s cricket ground where first of the two-test series between England and Pakistan has been played today.

England won the toss and elected to bat first in their home ground, but the analysts were saying the toss would be crucial and the team who will win the toss preferably go for bowl first.

England skipper has taken another route to this, he wants to play in the devastating conditions since Cook earlier said he was keen to play Pakistani bowlers.

England has quite a shaky start though, England lost early two wickets, Mohammad Abbas sent Stoneman home while Hassan Ali got Root’s and Malan’s wicket.
