Employees Advised Not To Use Biometric Attendance Amid Coronavirus Fears

It has been reported that the employees have been barred by the Sindh High Court (SHC) from marking their daily attendance by using the biometric system in all the courts across the province.

As per the details, the high court took this decision to prevent the spread of coronavirus that took several lives in China, Iran, and several other countries around the globe.

Instead of using the fingerprint scanner to mark the daily attendance, the Sindh High Court (SHC) has directed the concerned authorities to introduce the face recognition system for daily attendance purposes.

On the other hand, the administration of all the provincial courts across Punjab has also been directed by the Lahore High Court (LHC) to avoid using the biometric system to mark attendance.

“All the workers should mark their attendance on the register,” stated the registrar office.

A notification regarding the directions has also been sent to all courts in the most populated province of the country Punjab.
