Emirates Airline Stops Serving ‘Hindu Meal’ on its Flights

The leading airline in the world, Emirates has decided to stop serving ‘Hindu Meal’ on its flights. The Emirates travelers can now order food from the other options available to them. Those who have any medical issues or religious constraints do have other choices that are offered by the Emirates Airline. Emirates has taken off Hindu meal on basis of the customer feedback they have received.

An airline spokesperson said, “As part of our continuous review of the products and services available to customers, Emirates can confirm that it will discontinue the Hindu meal option. We constantly review our offering, taking into consideration customer uptake and feedback. This helps us improve service efficiencies.”

For the vegetarian eaters, the airline is serving an Indian Vegetarian Meal (AVML). The meal incorporates the flavors from Indian food and has a mixture of different vegetables, fresh fruit, dried fruits, legumes, milk & other dairy products, tofu, cereal, grains etc. The vegetarian feal does not have any kind of meat or its by-products, fish, eggs, or/and animal gelatine
For the Jain community, those who are completely vegetarian a Jani meal is served by Emirates Airline.

Emirates said,”Food and drink form an integral part of any Emirates flight experience and our menus are created by leading chefs to reflect the culture and preferences of Emirates’ diverse customer base. We have a wide variety of special meals that can be ordered in advance to cater to our customers with medical or religious dietary requirements, including our Hindu customers.”

We would also like to remind our readers that Emirates Airline is offering discounts on flights to Pakistan and India. Passengers can book the flights and take the trip from June 20, 2018, to March 31st, 2019.
