An international exhibition named “Emerging Pakistan” will begin at Karachi Expo Centre from November 9. It will be a four-day expo with almost 900 delegates from 85 nations a part of it. 186 stalls will be put up for this expo.
Federal Secretary Commerce Muhammad Younas Dagha has informed that most international delegates who have confirmed attendances are from to textile and food sectors.

The main aim of the expo is to promote a positive image of Pakistan around the globe. Films will be shown to promote entertainment industry of Pakistan. Landscapes of Pakistan will be displayed to encourage tourism and culture. A fashion showcase and musical concert will also be conducted.
Muhammad Younas Dagha said the “Only purpose of Emerging Pakistan expo is branding Pakistan by projecting good things.”
It is important as it will boost country’s trade and attract foreign companies to invest in Pakistan. Media was urged to play a pivotal role in this whole expo.
“Irrespective of like or dislike, the entire media should support the government’s efforts for the good of the country and the nation,” he said.
He also acknowledged that social media is playing its role in promoting ‘Emerging Pakistan’ campaign.
CPEC and its role were highlighted by Dagha as he said that all the developments going on in this mega project has created a softer image of Pakistan worldwide which needs to be encouraged further.
