Electricity might become costlier in near future.
The federal government is considering to push a Rs.16 billion surge in the electricity charges onto the consumers.
The central power purchasing agency has forwarded a summary to NEPRA, asking it to surge the electricity prices by Rs.1.73 per unit.
NEPRA adds that the request for increasing the prices was made owing to the fuel price adjustment for the month of October.
The power regulator is going to think on the request on the 26th of December.
The surged price effect would not be affecting the consumers of electricity in Karachi.
As per the latest development, on the other hand, the demand for dried fruits has surged with the advent of the cold weather. People generally love consuming the dried fruits during winters as the item helps in keeping the body warm.
The most demanded of all dried fruit among all are the walnuts.
Modern research and the health benefits these fruits possess is one big reason behind the surge in their consumption.
