The government claims that the production of electricity in the country has increased by 9 percent during the first month of the fiscal year 2017-18 as compared to the previous year’s total, the total production of electricity is jumped to 497,000 GW.

More interestingly, the government has shifted from the costly furnace oil production to RLNG production.

According to the details provided electricity production using RLNG is increased by 51 percent, RLNG specific production has reached 1514 GW, whereas electricity production from nuclear plants has also increased by 48 percent reaching to all time high 642 GW.

The government says, by the end of the year 2017, 6800 MW will be added to the national grid, in which 2480 MW will be the contribution of RLNG.
