Fawad Chaudhry, the federal minister for Science and Technology on Monday made the announcement that Eid-ul-Adha is likely to be celebrated on the 31st of July across the nation, as per the reports of local media.

It is pertinent to mention that on the 23rd of May, Fawad Chaudhry had forecasted that Eid-u-Fitr would be celebrated on the 24th of May in Pakistan like other Muslim nations. The prediction of the minister of Science and Technology proved correct as the chairman of the RUET Hilal committee Mufti Muneeb on the 23rd of May had announced about celebrating Eid on the 24th of May.
On the other hand, so far no decision has been taken about setting up the cattle markets for Eid-ul-Adha by the government of Sindh. We all know that cattle buying and visiting the cattle markets is the crux of Eid-ul-Adha, but keeping the present pandemic situation in mind things would not be the same and usual.
