The ECC has allowed the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) to issue new licenses to the RLNG based CNG stations.
As per reports, Dr. Abdul Hafeez Shaikh-the Adviser on Finance and Revenue led the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) meeting in the federal capital on Wednesday.
OGRA has been given the permission by ECC to issue new licenses to the RLNG based CNG stations with the provision that the license would neither be claiming for its conversion to indigenous gas nor would be receiving the mentioned gas.

There had been a ban on the issuance of the new licenses since 2008.
Moreover, the Coordination Committee allowed the SNGPL for recovering the earlier revenue shortfall alongside enabling the Sui Southern Gas Pipelines Limited to manage the load of the commercial and domestic sectors by diverting the RLNG in the coming winter season.
On the other hand, as per the latest, the government of KP has approved a bill against the heavy school bags carrying by the children going to schools.
The law has been proposed to discourage the practice and to offer ease to the young students.
