Earthquake Tremors Felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, and Northern Areas

Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore and adjoining areas. Tremors were also felt in Mansehra, Battagram, and Chiniot.

According to the National Seismic Monitoring Centre in Islamabad, the northern areas of Pakistan were jolted by a 6.4-magnitude earthquake. The depth of the Earthquake was 210km.

Also, as per the United States Geological Survey (USGS) a 6.1-magnitude earthquake had struck the region, including Afghanistan

Furthermore, it is reported that tremors were felt in Delhi and other northern regions of India as well that includes Mathura, Lucknow, Prayagraj, and India-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

There have been no reports regarding any loss to life or property yet. However, people in the Capital and other cities panicked.

Foreign Ministry was evacuated after the strong earthquake tremors were felt in Islamabad. Similarly, people from their offices and homes immediately went outside in panic.

According to a Twitterati, it was a 6.4 magnitude earthquake.
