Resonance Consultancy’s 2019 report of “World’s Best Cities” has ranked Dubai among top 10 cities to live in 2019. Dubai was ranked at number 9th on basis of its natural environment, high recommendation online, and good life quality.
Dubai has left behind San Francisco, Los Angeles, Madrid, Hong Kong, Frankfurt, Sydney and other major cities, as it is declared the 9th best city to live in 2019. Right at the top is London followed by Paris at Number 2, New York at number 3, Tokyo at number 4th, Barcelona at number 5th, Moscow at number 6th, Chicago at number 7th, Singapore at number 8th, Dubai at number 9th and San Francisco number 10th.
The other two Gulf cities included in the top 100 list are Abu Dhabi and Doha. They are ranked at 40th and 44th position.
President of Resonance Consultancy Chris Fair said, “The emirate comes in at #2 in the world in our deep Place category, for which we look at influential factors like crime rate, neighbourhoods and landmarks, weather and parks and outdoor activities. Dubai ranks #6 in weather and finished second to only Hanoi for parks and outdoor activities.”
Research Manager Knight Frank Taimur Khan said about Dubai that, “The city is home to some of the world’s most spectacular architecture, a top 10 global financial centre, one of regions most diversified economies, over 200 private schools and world-class lifestyle and amenities and all within a tax free environment – these factors are helping draw in expats from all over the world.”
Adding, “As the city develops in line with the leadership’s plans, we envisage its rise up the rankings will continue in the future.”
