Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are pondering on granting permission to the use driver’s licenses issued by Pak Motorways Police in the UAE.
The discussion would be held between the officials of the two countries for discussing over this plan and they would then submit their own recommendations to their particular governments.
A meeting was held in this regard between the Federal Minister for Communications and postal services, Murad Saeed and Hammad Obaid Ibrahimi Al Zaabi, the UAE ambassador.
The ambassador of the UAE lauded the policies of the government. The VIP’s agreed to send a team of the Ministry of Communities and Motorways Police to visit UAE and check whether the licenses issued there are applicable or not.
The minister also told the VIP’s regarding the Motorway Police Driving License Authority and also the measures that could contribute to innovating the plan.
It is clarified through an official statement that the officials of UAE and the Communications Ministry would work together to make the license valid and applicable.
