Dr. Zafar Mirza, the Special Assistant to PM on Health has tested positive for the coronavirus.
On Monday he tweeted that he has been tested positive for COVID-19 and is showing mild symptoms. He further indicated that he has isolated himself at his home. Dr. Mirza said that he is abiding with all the precautions.
He asked everyone to pray for his recovery and appreciated his colleagues who have been working alongside him to fight against the spread of the contagious virus across Pakistan.
He added that everyone’s contribution is making a significant difference and that he is proud of all.
Pakistan has so far reported more than 230,000 coronavirus cases and there have been 4,762 deaths so far. The count of recovered people from the virus is 131,649.
On the other hand, the government has launched a travelling instructions app for overseas passengers. The app is specially designed for travellers coming from abroad to Pakistan. It has got all the directives and SOPs pertaining to coronavirus.
This app would permit international travelers to follow the health-related SOPs that have been imposed by the respective authorities due to the COVID-19 which encompasses the quarantine procedure observance.
