Dr. Zafar Mirza Special Assistant to PM on Health warns everyone that the next 3-4 weeks can be critical for Pakistan in terms of COVID-19 infections and deaths.
He told everyone while briefing the media about the virus situation that the country has recorded the highest number of deaths in the last 24-hours and declared that the next 3-4 weeks can be critical. The cases have reached up to 10,000 in the country.
The special assistant says that the major reason for the terrible spread is ignorance.
Dr. Mirza says that Pakistanis are not taking precautionary measures which are causing the virus to spread more. The virus can be prevented if the people follow the instructions given out by the government.

He further claimed that after this virus vanishes, things will not be the same in the whole world. Each and every country including the developing countries will focus on building their health infrastructure.
According to him, so far none of the countries has focused on public health and disease prevention in the world’s history. Coronavirus will provide a suggestion for the upcoming generation in the future.
Recently, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited a corona hospital set up in Rawalpindi. The PM saw each and every ward and all the facilities.
Chief Abrarul-Haq briefed about all the steps taken by his organization to support the government’s initiative to fight the disease.
The chief told the PM that the hospital consists of 100 beds and an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) which has 10 beds. The ICU also has 8 ventilators for patients with critical conditions.
