Murad Raas—the Punjab Schools Education Minister inaugurated the launch of digitalised textbooks for primary grades at the Arfa Karim Tower on Thursday.
Regarding this project Murad Raas said that it is in line with the hundred-day agenda of the government of Punjab.
He reiterated that his government has resolved to develop the province as the centre of technology and education in South Asia mentioning that this project is a significant measure towards the digital revolution in the education sector as now the students would be able to study well by making use of this facility free of cost. It has been observed that some students face difficulty in understanding their lessons because of the many reasons in schools. It is anticipated that the digital textbooks would assist the students for better understanding their educational concepts and theories.
He further said that many tutorial lessons and videos have been given to assist the students to better understand the various subjects. A mobile phone application has been introduced so that the students could access this facility via their mobile phones.
The government of Punjab has bridged the separation between the poor and the wealthy student via this useful invention and now the students would be able to improve the intellectual capabilities.
This facility is not just limited to the province of Punjab but the students from the entire country would be the equal beneficiary.
