Diesel Price to be Reduced by Rs 17


Price of diesel will be reduced by Rs 17 as announced & claimed by Petroleum Federal Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan. He said that he aims to reduce the price of diesel and bring it down to petrol price level. Sarwar further informed that gas and oil reserves have been discovered in Sanghar.

He said that the new government is aiming to enhance and speed up work in the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline commonly known as the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) pipeline.

Mr. Sarwar Khan announced that the liquefied natural gas (LNG) import agreements will be made public.

Earlier Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) requested the government to increase the prices of petrol, diesel, kerosene and light diesel but they remained the same.
