DG health Punjab claims almost 1299 dengue patients reported this year so far

According to the details shared by the Director General Health Punjab, as many as 1299 patients diagnosed with dengue virus have been admitted to the various hospitals across Punjab this year so far.

As per the details, the number of the infected patients is increasing rapidly in the Pakistan’s most populated province Punjab.

The details further said that during the period of last 24 hours, almost 130 people were tested positive with the dengue virus from which 58 people were residents of the capital city Islamabad and 60 patients belonged to Rawalpindi.

The details of the other cases are that six cases of dengue virus were reported in Attock, 5 in Sargodha, four each in Gujranwala and Muzaffargarh, two cases of dengue virus were reported from Bahawalpur and one each in Toba Tek Singh, Vehari, Sialkot and Gujrat.
