The Indian government on March 2 had handed over the dead body of the Pakistani prisoner Shakirullah to the authorities of Pakistan at Wagha Border.
A Pakistani prisoner, Shakirullah, was in Indian custody since 2001. He, however, was killed by the inmates in Jaipur Jail on February 20 after Indian authorities leveled false allegations against Pakistan of being involved in the Pulwama attack in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK) that killed more than 40 Indian soldiers on spot.
Pakistan condemned the murder of Shakirullah and request the Indian authorities to immediately provide the details of the inquiry of the brutal killing and post-mortem report, which have not been handed over to Pakistan so far.
