Court orders to put Model Ayyan Ali’s flat on auction

A special customs court on Tuesday directed the concerned authorities to confiscate a flat owned by Model Ayyan Ali in Karachi.

The special court in Rawalpindi further ordered the authorities to put that flat owned by the accused in currency smuggling case on auction.

According to a report submitted in Rawalpindi’s customs court by the district and session judge of Karachi South, Flat no. 804 owned by the accused was seized and Judge Arshad Hussain Bhatta released an order to auction the property.

The prosecutor of customs said in the court that the money which will be recovered after selling Ayyan Ali’s flat will go into the national exchequer.

During the early hearings of the currency smuggling case, a special customs court in Rawalpindi has declared Ayyan Ali a proclaimed offender due to her continue absence from the hearings of the case.
