Countries & Companies Investing in Pakistan after CPEC

There are many countries and foreign companies that are ready to invest in Pakistan after the advent & positive progress of CPEC. CPEC has opened doors for investment in Pakistan attracting foreign investment. After China, many other countries have shown keen interest to explore the opportunities available in Pakistan.

Furthermore, Member National Assembly and Chairman Standing Committee for Finance in NA Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh said that companies all around the world are interested in investing in Pakistan.

Rainer Schmiedchen who is the Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany said that German companies are interested to finance the wind sector of Pakistan.

The ex-Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif invited Bahrain to explore investment opportunities in Pakistan. He highlighted that tourism industry in Pakistan seeks new investment. Furthermore, he emphasized that an investment in Pakistan would strengthen the brotherly bond between the countries.

Then, last year, 20 French companies visited Pakistan in April to explore investment opportunities in different sectors of Pakistan including energy, environment, banking, IT etc.

Furthermore, the Brazil Ambassador Claudio Raja Gabalia Lins talked to the members of the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and said that Brazil is interested to strengthen its relationship with Pakistan by investing in different sectors including food, sports, instruments, fertilizers industry and much more.

Japan and its companies want to invest more in Pakistan witnessing the profitable and flourishing business of already developed Japanese firms in the country. Consul General of Japan in Karachi, Toshikazu Isomura said that “We want to increase trade.” Adding, “Japan always supported Pakistan’s economy including industries.”

Even though the political conflicts between Pakistan and the USA are on the rise, still because of CPEC a US-based company wants to invest in Pakistan. World Technological & Trade, Inc (WTTI) 8-member delegation visited Intellectual Property Organization (IPO-Pakistan) led by Dr. Robert Y.NI. Dr. Robert was keen to invest in mining, IT and robotics sector of Pakistan.

This is just the glimpse of the movie. Nations, companies from all over the world now find Pakistan an attractive destination for investment and a lot of credit goes to CPEC for this success.
