Coronavirus Cases Reaches the Highest Spike in Pakistan within Twenty-Four Hours

On Friday, Dr. Zafar Mirza Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Health said that in the last 24 hours Pakistan has recorded the highest point in coronavirus cases.

While talking to local media, Dr. Zafar said that the cases will increase more in the coming days.

The number of cases has not reached its peak so far and the next two weeks are very important said the special assistant. The virus pattern in South Asia is different from that of the United States and Europe.

 Dr. Zafar Mirza said that the federal government implemented a smart lockdown as the daily wagers were suffering a lot while sitting inside their homes. He requested the authorities to allow open shops of essential possessions. There is a need for the imposition of lockdown in those areas where no traces of coronavirus have been detected.

The government decided to implement lockdown when coronavirus aroused in more than 100 areas said, Dr. Zafar Mirza.

As per the current updates, Pakistan has recorded 57 deaths and 2,636 new cases in the last twenty-four hours.

The highest number of cases was reported in Sindh which is approximately 25, 309.
