Coronavirus Cases in Pakistan Increases to 1,526

The count of coronavirus cases has surged to 1,526 on Sunday, as per the latest statistics released by the National Command and Control Centre.

So far 13 deaths have been reported from the disease in the country, while 28 of the affected ones have made complete recoveries after getting the coronavirus.

More than 11 people who have been diagnosed with the virus are still fighting to survive as they are in critical conditions at the various hospitals of the country.

So far, the reported cases in Punjab are the highest having a count of 558.

In the province of Sindh, 481 coronavirus cases have been reported, KP has reported 188 cases, Gilgit Baltistan has a count of 116 cases, Balochistan has got 138 cases, the federal capital has reported 43 cases and Azad Jammu and Kashmir have got a total of 2 cases.

Sindh has given confirmation of 17 new coronavirus cases because of local transmission in the port city on Saturday. There is now a total of 181 cases of the coronavirus affectees in Karachi. So far a total of 13 people have fully recovered from COVID-19 in Karachi and 170 people are still under treatment.

On the other hand, the CNG owners of the country are also demanding for a relief package for the CNG sector, which has also been affected negatively amid the coronavirus outbreak.
