Following the orders issued by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Corona Relief Tiger Force put together and will become operational from Wednesday (today) to participate in the relief activities during the lockdown situation due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Usman Dar—a Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs announced the development saying that the Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar will officially inaugurate the force.
Dar said that the soft launch of the Corona Relief Tiger Force had been successful, adding that the youth across Pakistan will be mobilized in phases. “The members of the Corona Relief Tiger Force will be deployed outside mosques and utility stores,” the Special Assistant to Prime Minister said.
He further said that the volunteers of the force will cooperate with the police officials and district administration while dispensing their assigned duties.
Earlier the current month, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan had announced the launch of the Corona Relief Tiger Force, saying it will lead the fight against the coronavirus in Pakistan.
