Construction Work Started at SKMT Karachi


On Saturday, news came out that the construction work at the site of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust in Karachi has been started and our Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed happiness over the news.

On Saturday, Prime Minister Imran Khan tweeted on his official Twitter account where he wrote that Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust (SKMT) Karachi is going to the biggest cancer hospital in Pakistan which will be equipped with all the latest machinery.  

According to the reports, the SKMT (Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust) is working as a model institution in order to provide ease to all those patients suffering from cancer by applying the latest and modern palliative and curative therapy regardless of their capability to pay. Moreover, it is spreading the education of health care and performing different researches into the causes and as well as for the treatment of cancer.

As per the latest development, in order to promote a distance learning system in Pakistan, a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training and Radio Pakistan.
