Earlier today, the Met Office revealed that another cold wave is going to hit Karachi from Balochistan on Saturday night.
According to the reports, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicted that the Siberian winds will blow with a speed from 22-30 km per hour in Karachi.
The Siberian winds will most likely bring the temperature down to 4-5 degrees Celsius in the port city.
As per the weather report, the westerly cold wave will drop the temperature to a single digit in metropolis city.
The weather reports further revealed that the forthcoming cold wave will enter Karachi on Sunday and will stay in the city for around 3 days.
Previously the PMD (Pakistan Meteorological Department) predicted that gusty winds will blow in Karachi from today and the maximum temperature in the daytime will rise to 26 degrees.
Now the Met Office has predicted chilly winds and a drop in temperature in the port city.
The last cold wave that hit Karachi continued for 2 weeks. Recently, the intensity of the cold wave lessened.
Previously, the temperature in Karachi dropped down to 6 to 7 degrees in the last cold wave. Karachi reported its coldest night on the 31st of December 2020 as the temperature dropped down to 5.6 degrees Celsius.
