COAS Met the Qatari Air Commander and Discussed Security-related Matters – the Qatari commander praised Pakistan’s effort to bring peace.
Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa recently met Major General (Pilot) Salem Hamad Eqail Al-Nabet – Commander Qatar Emiri Air Force. The air commander is on a visit to Pakistan.
The two discussed matters related to professional interests and regional security situation.
General Bajwa appreciated the ties between Pakistan and Qatar and looks forward to enhancing defense and security cooperation.
Major General (Pilot) Salem Hamad also added his appreciations for the contributions of the Pakistan Army to work for peace and security. He also praised the role in training the Armed Forces of Qatar.
It is also informed that the Qatari air force commander earlier today had a meeting with Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi at Naval Headquarters where he was presented guard of honor upon his arrival.
