As per the reports of local media, the CNG stations are to reopen in Karachi for 8 hours on Tuesday.
According to the Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) schedule, the CNG stations would be reopening at 10:00 pm tonight, and would keep on supplying the gas until 6:00 am in the morning for 8 consecutive hours.
The spokesperson of the SSGC said that the pressure is low from the different gas fields and they are experiencing problems in offering gas to the local consumers as well.
The future schdule of the CNG stations opening would be announced later by keeping the gas pressure in consideration.

On the 11th of January, the All Pakistan Compressed Natural Gas Association (APCNGA) and All Karachi Transport Ittehad (AKTI) had made the announcement to have a protest at the Sui Southern Gas Company office in Karachi over a continuous closure of the CNG stations in the city.
The AKTI President, Irshad Bukhari had mentioned that the Sindh-produced gas fulfills the gas requirements of 70 per cent of Pakistan and the SSGC is inclined on ruining the businesses in the province.
He also said that if the present situation does not improve then the petroleum industry would be responsible for any outcomes.
The APCNGA had also mentioned that the government was not acquiring its vows and it has become a routine for them as after agreeing to open the CNG stations a day earlier, they announce their closure hours before.
