Chief Minister Punjab Insaf Imdad Programme has started to provide and distribute financial aid to the poor. A sum of around Rs1.50 bn is given to 170,000 people.
As per the Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar, the government is providing real relief to the people instead of just making claims.

Rs10 billion sum is allocated to the poor to provide financial aid to almost 2.5 million families. It is highly transparent and speedy financial aid programme.
Buzdar has vowed to help the people in need under the programme and said that more funds will be given to the deserving people after going through their credentials.
Furthermore, a similar step was taken by the Sindh government as it distributed Rs569.604 million amount amongst 94,934 needy families in Sindh amid coronavirus lockdown.
The Spokesman of the provincial government Murtaza Wahab made this announcement on his Twitter account.
In an earlier article, we informed our readers about the government of Sindh launching a mobile service for ration distribution in the province. Through the service, ration would be distributed among the daily wagers and needy people who are affected by the coronavirus epidemic.
